In several cities from north to south of Italy, large posters appeared with the words “Russia is not my enemy!”

The initiative belongs to the associations “Verona Liberty” and “Free Trade Unions” and is supported by the Verona “Veneto-Russia” cultural association.

Similar posters appeared in Parma, Pisa, Chieti, Capri and Massa, according to Veneto-Russia director Palmarino Zocatelli.

Some associations require permission to use high-resolution images.

For example, on the posters, Capri recalled that there was also a poster in Donetsk that read “The Italian people are not my enemies.”

Zocatelli said he believed in the power of “people’s diplomacy” that reaches ordinary people, and he noted that engagement would continue.

The association regularly organizes events related to Russia and its history and explains the causes of the Ukrainian conflict and the nature of the Kiev regime used to weaken Russia.

Zocatelli pointed out that many people in Italy understand this, but the central media has taken an anti-Russian line.
