Biden to drop out of presidential race this weekend?

According to The Washington Post, in some conversations, Obama “told people he was concerned that polls were moving against Biden, that former President Donald Trump’s electoral path was widening and that donors were abandoning the president.”
The Washington Post said that given Biden’s continued embarrassing performances in public, such as calling Vice President Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump” or calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “President Putin,” Obama’s concerns “will only become more serious.”

While the most likely scenario is that Biden endorses Harris to take over, some in the party would prefer a new candidate. Harris would still have the support of Biden, Obama, former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
