Born in 1960 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Ayrton Senna made his Formula 1 debut in 1984 and in a very short time became one of the most popular and famous drivers of all time, winning three World Championships in 1988, 1990 and 1991. San Marino remembers this driver and his personal greatness, as well as the determination and tenacity with which he faced racing and life. His exploits behind the wheel continue to fascinate today, and the events in which he was the protagonist have gone down in the history of racing and continue to inspire thousands of young people around the world, even today, many years after his untimely death.
The logo of the San Marino Special Edition was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the memory and legacy of a man who became a global legend not only in the field of sports.
This issue was presented this morning at the State Secretariat for Sports in the presence of local authorities.
The value is composed of the words “3.15”, “San Marino”, the coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino and the year 2024. The flap on the left side of the paper displays the logo and the legend “Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Memory and Legacy of Ayrton Senna”.
