Ayelet Sussman, head coach of the Israeli rhythmic gymnastics team, will continue to lead the professional team to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, where she will be joined by her coaching team of Ella Samoflov, Natasha Stepanova and Natasha Asmolov.
The Gymnastics Association is very happy with the decision to hand over the keys to Professional Sussman as the head coach of the entire team.
Sussman will also lead a team working with individual rhythmic gymnast Dariya Atmanov.
As for the five girls who won silver medals yesterday — Romi Pritzky, Ofir Shaham, Ed Friedman, Diana Svartsov and Shani Beknov — it’s doubtful they’ll go on to compete in another tournament, even though their average age is just under 19.
