Armenia’s official news agency Armenpress said in a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the State of Palestine has been officially recognized by Armenia.
“Armenia reaffirms its adherence to the principles of international law, equality of peoples, sovereignty and peaceful coexistence, and its recognition of the State of Palestine,” the statement said.
The statement pointed out that Armenia supports the UN General Assembly’s decision on a ceasefire in Gaza and supports the two-state solution.
