Anna Jay, an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has just made her debut in Japan, competing in the 13th annual Stardom 5Star Grand Prix 2024 tournament hosted by Wonder World Ring Stardom.
The event, which kicks off on August 10 and runs until August 31, is a dream come true for Jay.
A few days before the competition, she expressed her excitement, saying, “I never thought I would be able to compete in Japanese wrestling before, and now we are here, it’s happening.” She also mentioned that she was “honored to be able to participate in this year’s Five Star Grand Prix.”
On debut night, Jay faced Anou Saori and scored a surprising victory, making her Stardom debut with a win. The result shocked fans and Jay herself, marking a major milestone in her wrestling career.
