The fourth medal for Montenegro at the Student Games in Miskolc was won by Andrea Komatina, followed by taekwondo athlete Matija Drobenjak, karate athletes Nikola Malovic and Vladimir Mijač.
Andrea Komatina won the silver medal in the 62kg category in taekwondo.
On the way to the final, she defeated Martínez Fejo Erika from Spain 2:0 in two rounds, and in the second round she defeated Mia Paskanski from Great Britain with the same score 2:0, while in the semifinals Andrea defeated the first seed Julie Špak from Poland with a score of 2:1.
In the final, slight differences determined our player’s 2:1 loss to the Turkish representative Hura Gokce Gogebakan.
Tomorrow is the last day of competitions at the European University Games – one of our representatives, Vasilije Peruničić, will compete in the 80 kg category.
