Andorra’s unprecedented shame: this shame will be difficult to wash away!

This was one of the biggest embarrassments in the history of Velez, as this was the most efficient match of Andorra in the history of the European competition and they beat Mostar in the regular season.

We can safely say that Velez seriously played up its image, name and tradition in the double match against the Andorran Inter from Escaldes. Unfortunately, in both matches against a club from one of the worst UEFA member countries, Velez did not show that it was better than its opponent in any way, and it is also good to remember the comments after the draw, when many celebrated that the European people of Mostar had drawn a very “amateur” Inter.

After a 1:1 draw with Grbavica away from home, Inter Milan defeated Velez 5:1 today, dealing a heavy blow with a total score of 6:2, reminding everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina that a different era has arrived and they can no longer even play against Andorra.

Velez started well but missed a great chance from Huskić in the second minute. There was no chance for a while and then in the 39th minute, Bosnia was awarded a penalty. The ball was from Huskić but it hit the post and that was the beginning of the end for Velez.

Just five minutes later, Lopez took a 1-0 lead, and two minutes later he scored again, making it a shocking 2-0.

Velez’s coach Damir Anadi, who had clearly not yet adapted to the new team, introduced Orec, Mujan and Jeftovic. It paid off in the 53rd minute when Orec scored to reduce the score to 2:1 and Velez clearly returned to the game.

Four minutes later, there was another shock. Velez’s defensive reaction was very bad and the ball went to Berlanga, who scored to make it 3: 1. It was as if he played for Inter Milan and not from Andorra.

At the end of the game, the two tried a few more times, but nothing changed much until the 85th minute, when Berlanga scored again, making the score 4: 1. In the second minute of injury time, Andrea scored the fifth goal for Inter Milan.

In the end, Velez was in great embarrassment. AEK gained nothing and Velez will soon say goodbye to Europe, and the saddest thing is that it is well deserved.
