An alert has been issued for the area around Sibiu. Two bears were spotted in the Porumbacu de Sus commune in the Castelul de lut area.

This evening, the emergency number 112 reported the presence of two bears in the radius of the town of Porumbacu de Sus (Luther Castle area),” ISU Sibiu announced.

SMURD staff went to the site to ensure that the measures taken were in line with the terms of reference of ISU Sibiu.

Additionally, RO alert messages were sent to local residents regarding the presence of animals in the area.
