The Socialist Democratic Party, based on information about the assassination of the former president, launched a controlled hearing with the head of the Police Administration, Zoran Budanin, and the head of the National Security Service, Boris Milic, to discuss the actions of the security services. The chairman of the DPS House of Representatives, Andrija Nikolic, said that Montenegro and the party’s former leader, Milo Đukanović, were preparing.
– Nikolic noted at a press conference that the police department was not informed of the information held by the Australian National Security Agency about the operation that was being prepared to assassinate Dukanovic, which shows a serious security lapse.
We remind you that the office of former President Milo Djukanovic informed the competent authorities last Sunday that they had learned that a criminal group in the region was planning to assassinate the former leaders of the State and Democratic Party.
At the time, the police department said Dukanovich had stepped up security.
