Abhishek Bachchan responded to a fan’s accusation that he is limiting wife Aishwarya’s work opportunities.
Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter to express his views on Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2. In the film, his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays the lead role of Queen Nandini. A fan suggested that Abhishek should allow Aishwarya to act in more film roles, to which he gave a clear response.
Abhishek tweeted, “#PS2 is simply amazing!!! Not sure what to say right now. So excited. Congratulations to the entire team #ManiRatnam @chiyaan @trishtrashers@actor_jayamravi @Karthi_Offl and the rest of the cast and crew. So proud Mrs.Her is the best yet.”
One fan retweeted his post and wrote, “You should do this! Now let her sign more films and you just take care of Aaradhya.”
The “Master” actor responded, “For her to sign? Sir, she doesn’t need my permission to do anything. Especially something she likes.”

Abhishek married Aishwarya in 2007. The star couple welcomed daughter Aaradhya in 2011.
They have starred in many films together, including Guru, Dhoom 2, etc.
Ponniyin Selvan 2 is the second film adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s five-part novel series of the same name.
