Butwal, July 26. A woman died after being gored by a free-range bull in Butwal. Sita Pandey, 45, a resident of Gulmi, died during treatment at the Lumbini district hospital in Butwal after she was seriously injured after being gored by a bull.
Sita, a resident of Resunga ward 4 in Gulmi, runs a snack bar near Pulchok while living in a rented house in Golpark ward 3 in Butwal sub-metropolitan area.
According to Butwal district police chief DSP Vijayraj Pandit, Sita was attacked by a stray bull on the road on July 20 when she went to the dairy to fetch milk.
Sita went to fetch milk when two bulls were fighting and was trampled by the bulls and was taken to Lumbini District Hospital for treatment.
Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City has built a cattle shed in Shivnagar community forest in Butwal to graze cattle, but due to lack of overall control, there is a risk of vehicle accidents on the road.
