Sindhuli, July 20. A youth was electrocuted while fishing in Sindhuli. The deceased has been identified as Naveen Dhami Danuwar, 27, of 1 Gichani in Dudhauli city.
According to Govindraj Kafle, the Superintendent of Police of Sindhuli district police station, Naveen, Janga Bahadur Dhami, 50, and Indra Sapkota, 51, of the same locality, were fishing using wires in the local Banka River today.
He said he suffered serious injuries due to electric shock and was rushed to Sirthauli Dudhauli Nagar Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said Janga Bahadur and Indra, who were traveling with the deceased Naveen, had no contact. Inspector Kavle said the incident was under further investigation.
