A man was injured while trying to arrest a man and has been taken to hospital.
A 38-year-old man was injured. The man was arrested on a drug court order.
Police spokesman Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Shifan said the man was injured in July while in police custody and appearing in drug court.
The family has expressed serious concerns about the police’s conduct in this incident and has asked the Police Professional Standards Command, the National Integrity Commission and the Human Rights Commission to investigate the matter.
