police TellA 30-year-old man died in a traffic accident in Rantasalmi, Etrasavo province, on Saturday evening.
The man was driving an all-terrain vehicle, which police said had veered off the road for unknown reasons.
The driver of the ATV died at the scene and the woman in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
As of Saturday evening, Eastern Finland police were not aware of other parties involved in the incident.
Police announced that they will continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
