Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Subramaniam Jayashankar is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow on an official visit.
At the invitation of External Affairs Minister Musa Zamir, Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Subramanian Swamy will visit Sri Lanka from tomorrow till 11th of this month.
India’s foreign minister is expected to meet the president. He plans to pay a courtesy visit to the president.
The two foreign ministers will also meet and hold formal talks during the visit.
In addition, the two countries also plan to complete several projects under the Exim Bank of India’s credit line and sign a memorandum of understanding to enhance capabilities in various fields.
This is Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankankar making his first official visit to Sri Lanka since his re-election for a second term.
