Deputy Chairman of the People’s National Council and Vice President Hussein Mohammad Latif said the president will fulfill his promises to the people.
He said this while addressing a rally at the People’s National Committee headquarters.
Vice President Hussain Mohammed Latif said that the government of President Dr. Mohammed Muizul will uphold certain principles and standards and he will uphold the rule of law in Sri Lanka. The Vice President said that the President always remembers that power comes from the people and he always advises them to listen to the feelings of the people.
“Given the situation and the time, the president will not hesitate to listen to the people. There is evidence that he is listening to the people and acting in accordance with their wishes,” Vice President Hussein Mohammad Ratif said.
The Vice President also said the President’s manifesto will be achieved during this term. The Vice President said he had no doubt that President Muyizu would be re-elected.
The Vice President said hatred and hostility had been created in the country and a large number of people were destroyed because of the former political leaders. He also said that only with peace and harmony can the country develop.
The Vice President said that the people support Muyizu because he has the ability to listen to the people. The Vice President said that the changes in the national budget and the enrichment of the people in recent days have seen that he is working hard to govern well for the people.
