Three people were arrested for carrying bottles of alcohol.
The three persons were arrested in a joint operation by the Narcotics Control Bureau, Intelligence Bureau and Five Atolls Police following a tip-off that liquor was being sold in Dhoromohora.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the case, including a Sri Lankan.
The three were identified as Ahmed Ashraf, 43, from Kansas. M. Luxgarden and Amjad Mohammed, 50, of Malaysia/Gd. Nalin Indika Kodikar, 52, of Sri Lanka were arrested.
Police seized 24 bottles of liquor from the village.
The police are currently investigating the incident further.
