Libreville, Sunday, August 4, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The ceremony of the official handover of books to teachers and students took place last Wednesday at the library of the National School of Policing (ENM) and between trainees of the institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Keepers of the Seal.

In fact, the ceremony was personally presided over by Minister Paul Marie Gondjout, with the presence of ENM’s elite, headed by Mr. Pierre Ndong Aboghé, ENM General Manager. For this professional training institution created in 1971, it was the first time in nearly twenty years.

“We must renew this library fund. We are grateful to the Government of the Republic for providing theoretical works and, above all, also dedicated to judicial practice, which will be useful to legal professionals, magistrates, clerks, notaries, bailiffs, as well as lawyers already practicing, and even to future students. The school is committed to strengthening their theoretical and judicial capacities”, Mr. Pierre Ndong Agboch insisted.

This symbolic gesture was preceded by the right words from the Minister of Justice and Human Rights and Keeper of the Great Seal, Paul Marie, who said: “I offer you these works to enrich your library as part of the policy of the Transitional Government to ensure that the National School of the Judiciary is better supplied, able to offer diploma training and to increase the efficiency of its chest. “Gondjout reassured the heads of the ENM that they wish to support their relentless pursuit of the goal to significantly improve the quality of training of court clerks and magistrates, especially the continuation of training.

The works, delivered by the Minister of Justice to the National Police College, were among the recommendations of the seminar on justice system reform held in Libreville in November 2023.
