know me…
I have been a PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania since August 2018. I am researching the role of higher and further education in the settlement experience of refugee migrants in Launceston. Prior to joining UTAS as a PhD candidate, I had 4 and a half years of research experience in the KOICA Nepal office.
Academically, I grew up in Kathmandu University, Nepal, where I obtained a Masters in Development Studies (2012-2013) and a Bachelor’s in Media Studies (2007-2011). I am passionate about writing and learning new languages, and so far I can write and speak French, Korean, Nepali, English, and Hindi.
