He said fishing is a seasonal occupation, depending on the number of fish caught at a particular time.
The boat also has to be the right type.
– I ordered a boat for myself that was designed for flounder and catfish. Benjamin said it was a boat designed entirely for these two types of fishing.

The boat is a little over seven meters long and a little over three meters wide.
According to Benjamin, the boat has to be large enough to accommodate the things on board.
According to the season
According to Benjamin Tillquist, fishing is a seasonal job.
In the spring, he fishes for pike out of the ice, and when the beaches thaw, he spends four to five weeks fishing for roach in the bay.
– After the roach fishing is over, the bass and pike start to move on.
Perch and zander fishing will continue into mid-summer.
– Benjamin says you can start throwing catfish into the ocean for roosting around Labor Day, and that will last until about midsummer.
– If you have the time, you can fish almost all spring until mid-summer.
According to Tillquist, July is an in-between month when you can fish with a net at the edge of the open sea.
– It is a challenging time for coastal fishermen. The fish are out to sea so far that it is difficult to reach them.
