Zardari calls for faster relief efforts in rain-affected areas

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari expressed deep condolences over the loss of life and property caused by heavy rains across the country.

In a statement issued by the Presidential Palace, he expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims.

President Zardari stressed the need to speed up rescue efforts to help the affected people. He also called for preventive measures to protect people’s lives and prevent the recurrence of tragedies caused by rain.

He stressed the importance of timely government action to ensure effective drainage of rainwater and reduce the risk of future accidents. In his prayers, Zardari prayed to the gods to bring peace to the deceased and provide strength to the families of the victims to bear the losses.
