Light to heavy rain continued in different parts of Karachi from the night leading to high temperatures and heat wave.
II Chandragarh Road, Sadar Gurmandar, Lasbela, MA Jinnah Road and surrounding areas received rain late at night, among which Gulshan Iqbal, Gulistan Johar, Union Region B, Liaquatabad, Karimabad, North Nazimabad received heavy rain.
Light and heavy rains continued since nightfall. Rum Jhum continued from University Road to the Towers and then from Orangi Town to Gulshan Hadid. Along with the rains, waterlogged roads in the city and power supply was disrupted in some areas.
Meanwhile, rains continued in Lahore, including the federal capital, and several cities in Punjab. The weather was pleasant with cold winds, dark clouds, occasional light and heavy rains.
Abar Rehmat near Mall Road, Anarkali Bazar, Cordoba Chowk, Waris Road in Lahore Heavy monsoon rains are expected across the country from today till August 6.
