Tegucigalpa– Brothers Agustín and Rodrigo Auzmendi scored four goals as Motagua beat UPN Lobos 4-2 in the opening match of the National League at the Chelato Uclés Stadium in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

The team led by Argentine Diego Vazquez took the first three points of the tournament after defeating Lobos, who sometimes knew how to compete.

Three goals that were brought home by “Pistolero” Agustín Auzmendi (23′, 49′ and 59′) and another by Rodrigo Auzmendi (87′) were a shout out to this spoiled team. Junior Padilla (45′) and Kilmar Peña (85′) scored for Estudiantes.

The Argentine Pistols scored their first goal against Motagua.

Defender Luis Vega was sent off in the 74th minute and will miss the second round match against Real Madrid.

It was a good start for the Blues, who must visit Diriangen, Nicaragua, at the start of their Central American Cup campaign in midweek.

The remaining matches of the National League Matchday 1 will end this Saturday: Marathon-Victoria and Genesis-Olympia, and on Sunday it will end with the matches against Real Sociedad-Real de España and Olancho-Uticapa.
