Indian occupation troops deployed in occupied Kashmir have claimed that they have thwarted a major attack by Pakistani Border Action Group in Kupwara sector along the Line of Control.
India Today reported that one Indian soldier was killed and several soldiers, including a major, were injured while foiling the attack by Pakistan’s so-called Badr Operation Group. All the injured were taken to hospital.
Indian occupation forces claim that infiltration attempts are often carried out in (occupied) Jammu and Kashmir. In this attempt, many Indian soldiers were killed in the clash. An Indian major was also killed in this attack.
This was the second match in three days in the Kupwara district, which has seen an unusually high number of attacks on Indian troops in the past few months, drawing heavy criticism from the Indian media.
Indian media claimed that due to the lack of reasonable security measures, attacks on troops and campuses have increased. It is worth noting that the Indian occupation forces recently deployed a special force of 450 commandos to prevent attacks on troops in Kupwara and some other areas. Despite this, the attacks have not decreased, and the Indian occupation forces have found it difficult to answer the media’s pressing questions.
