A celebration to mark the July 28 holiday will take place at Palazzo Pubblico on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 6 p.m. The anniversary of the fall of fascism and Freedom Day is coming In the presence of the most excellent Regents, Their Excellencies Alessandro Rossi and Milena Gasperoni, and the State authorities, and in accordance with specific protocols.
The ceremony will open in the atrium of the Palazzo della Republica with a speech by the Minister of the Interior, Andrea Bellucci, followed by a historical presentation by Dr. Giuseppe Giardi and the reading of the chronicles of some of the protagonists of the events of 1943.
The recitals performed by Fabrizio Raggi will be interspersed with musical pieces performed by students of the San Marino Conservatory of Music. Finally, after the National Anthem of the Republic of San Marino, the Most Excellent Regent will present a laurel wreath in Piazza della Libertad.
Citizens are invited to participate in ceremonies related to significant events in the history of San Marino and in our collective memory, hoping to prolong the memory of significant historical events and encourage people, especially young people, to reflect on the prevalent values related to freedom, democracy and harmony.
