The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) continues to roll out and implement the new Papua New Guinea (PNG) Climate Priorities Project.

The workshop was attended by 40 representatives including provincial stakeholders, government administrators, the private sector, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society.
They developed a common understanding of the key elements of the project and its implementation at the provincial level, coordinated expectations, and provided a basis for project scoping, planning, and implementation.
According to the Green Gold Institute, this landmark climate priority project is fully funded by the Australian Government under the Papua New Guinea-Australia Climate Change Action Plan (PACCAP) at A$20 million to help Papua New Guinea cope with the adverse effects of climate change and build a stronger, climate-resilient and socially inclusive nation.
