Kathmandu. Financial assistance has been provided to the families of two girls who drowned in Syangja.
The UAE-based International Coordinating Committee of the Syangja Aid Society, Syangja Aid Society, Nepal Association and Namaste Travel and Tourism Family have provided support of Rs 90,000.
These social organizations include Laxman Khanal (Syangja), Rajendra Adhikari (Pavarta), Toyanath Lamsal (Rupandehi), Gopichandra Bhusal (Parvat), Purushottam Bhusal (Rupandehi), Dharmadatta Dhakal (Syangja), Krishna Bhusal (Arghakhachi), Surya Khanal (Rupandehi ) also extended a helping hand.
The aid amount was handed over to the family of the deceased girl after reaching the Swara at Ramkosa in Syangja Putlibazar City 4. Ekendra Thapa, Advisor of Syangja Sahayog Samaj in the UAE, coordinated the partnership.
Ramesh Dhakal, a philanthropist who has long been active in the UAE’s film distribution sector, said organizations set up abroad have stepped up to help with the emergency in the country.
On June 30, local Narendra Bahadur Thapa’s daughters Lakshmi Thapa, 14, and Sushmita Thapa, 12, drowned.
