July 11, Kathmandu. Afghanistan and New Zealand will play a single Test match. The two teams will face each other for the first time in a long format match.

This is the 10th Test match for Afghanistan. This is the third Test match for Afghanistan in 2024. This is the highest number of Test matches Afghanistan has played in a year since the Test recognition.

This is the first Test match for Afghanistan. Afghanistan will play the match at its home ground, the Noida Sports Complex.

The Test match is scheduled to be held from September 9 to 13. New Zealand will play three Test matches against India again in a month. The New Zealand team will play against the Indian team from October 16.

Meanwhile, New Zealand is also preparing to play a Test in Sri Lanka. However, the date of the Test against Sri Lanka has not yet been announced.

After the Test match against New Zealand, England, Australia, Pakistan and South Africa will be the only countries Afghanistan will play in the Test series.

In 2021, Australia refused to play against Afghanistan on humanitarian grounds.

Afghanistan have already lost to Ireland and Sri Lanka in the 2024 Test series.

Afghanistan has won 3 and lost 6 of its 9 Test matches so far.
