Minsk, July 25 /Corr. Berta/. Letters written by Princess Diana to her family’s former housekeeper will soon be auctioned, Izvestia reported, citing Sky News.

In some of the letters, Diana discussed her life, including preparations for her wedding to the current King Charles III of the United Kingdom, and the relationships her children, Prince William and Prince Harry, had with their father.

Diana discussed details of her life quite openly in her letters. One of them was written just three weeks before her wedding.

“Everyone here is busy with the latest decorations… and the bride is completely calm!” – she commented.

In December 2023, Princess Diana’s dress sold at auction for $1.1 million, setting a record for a fashion item. A black velvet tutu from Julien’s sold for 11 times its estimated price. In mid-September, Princess Diana’s cardigan sold at auction for the same price – $1.1 million -0-.
