The Greenfield Park team will be selling some of their handmade items at the Royal Isle of Man Agricultural Show on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August.

Greenfield Park (at Noble’s Site) is a day care centre where adult service users with learning disabilities develop life skills in a safe environment.

At the day centre, service users repurpose donated materials from the community such as pallets, Manx Loughton wool, tins, old walkers and timber to create a range of high-quality handmade gifts such as decorative plaques, storage boxes and rugs – all of which can be purchased at the fair.

On the day, the team will only accept cash payments, with all funds raised going back to the Greenfield Park Day Centre for future events.

Sara Harper, Day Services Manager said:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the incredible things our service users have created during their time with us at Greenfield Park. All items are made from nearly 100% recycled materials and service users have been given opportunities for enrichment and development during the production process – each item is made with love. Please do come and join us for the exhibition.”
