Murder charge
The video was released about two weeks after Grayson shot Macy. CNN reported on Saturday, July 20 that Grayson has been charged with murder.

Grayson turned on his body camera only after he shot Massey, according to prosecutors. When they arrived at Massey’s yard, Grayson’s co-worker turned on the camera.
An Illinois State Police investigation did not support Grayson’s claims that his use of deadly force was justified.
A Sangamon County grand jury indicted Grayson last Wednesday on three charges: first-degree murder, aggravated assault and misconduct in office.
