In Kranj, they allocated 40,000 euros to promote social entrepreneurship.

Kranj – This year, the Municipality of Kranj will award €4 million to seven investors to promote the development of social entrepreneurship. On the basis of open applications, it has issued decisions to them and signed contracts for the provision of assistance.

The municipality will co-finance eligible expenses for the renovation of business premises, the leasing of business premises, the purchase of machinery or other types of work equipment as basic assets, and education and training of employees. The following institutions will receive assistance: Vincenzo Draksler Foundation Employment Center, Centipede Institute Center, Vincenzo Draksler Foundation for Addicts, Social Entrepreneurship Impact Institute, Korak Employment Center, Carnus and Fragmenti Institute, Institute for the Promotion of Culture, Nature and Cultural Heritage and Meaningful Life.

The city government stressed that support for the program, while not a legal obligation of the city government, represents a contribution to the development of this form of non-profit entrepreneurship.
