Kurd was one of at least 30 people killed in the Gaza Strip in 24 hours. Israeli bombing Rescue workers and medics in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip said the attack killed six members of a family in a northern Gaza city neighborhood.
A civil defense spokesman said the Nusserat refugee camp was attacked overnight, killing at least seven people.
Medical staff at Oda Hospital said four children from Nusserat were injured while playing on the roof, and one of them needed a leg amputation.
Surgeon Hussein said Kurd’s husband was also injured in the missile attack on their home.
Baby Malik Yassin faced further medical hurdles after being delivered by caesarean section. Saudi Arabia said he was born in critical condition but was in stable condition after receiving oxygen and medical treatment.
The war in Gaza has made childbirth increasingly dangerous, with pregnant women facing near-daily attacks and being denied access to medical care.
If they can reach a hospital, they find facilities that humanitarian groups say are stretched to their limits.
Currently, there are only 1,500 hospital beds available for Gaza’s more than 2 million residents, compared with 3,500 before the war. The United Nations agency said.
