The coffins of the remains of four victims of past wars in the Prijedor region will be sent out from the “Šejkovača” identification center at 11 a.m. tomorrow and will be buried after a collective funeral in Kozarac tomorrow morning, Anadolu reported.

A reception of the Sorrow Column with the remains of the victims is planned at 8 pm at the “Kamičani” Memorial Center.

The victims were those killed in 1992 in the Korićanski stijene, Čarakov and Kozarac regions.

“The youngest victim who will be buried in Kamicani this year is Forić (Kasima) Alija. He was 23 years old when he was killed in the Kozarac region in June 1992. In 1998, his remains were exhumed at the Sivci-Mekteb site. After the funeral, Alija will be buried in the Kamicani Martyrs Cemetery,” announced the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The oldest victim buried was a woman, Musić (Ibro) Badema, born in 1942. She was 50 years old when she was killed in Karakovo, near Prijedor. Her remains were exhumed in 2018 at the site of the Aricza Forest in Karakovo and her remains will be buried in the Šehid Cemetery in Karakovo.

In addition to these two victims, Music (Hajro) Nazif, born in Karakovo in 1960, will also find his final rest this year. He was killed in July 1992 and his remains were exhumed in Karakovo, Zeger district, in March last year. He will also be buried in the Karakovo Martyrs Cemetery.

After the mass funeral in Kozarac, Aljii (Nedžib) Enver, born in Skopje, Macedonia in 1966, will also be buried. He was killed in 1992 at Korićanske stijene in Vlasic and his remains were exhumed when the last mass grave was discovered at the site in September 2017. He will be buried at the Kamicani Martyrs Cemetery.

Today, after seeing off from the “Šejkovača” identification center at 11 a.m., the sad procession carrying the coffins of the victims will make a short stop in Sanski Most at 11:30 a.m., then in Kliuč at 12:30 p.m., then in Bosanski Petrovac at 2 p.m., arriving in Bihać, at 3:30 p.m. in Bosnia Krupa, at 5:40 p.m. in Bosnia Otoka, at 6:30 p.m. in Novi Bosnia, at 7:15 p.m. in Prijedor, while the scheduled time of arrival in Kamikan is 8 p.m.
