The Salzburg Festival opened on Friday, and one day later the much-anticipated new play “Everyman” celebrated its premiere at the Cathedral Square. Director Robert Carson wanted to incorporate the specificity of the venue into his production, allowing the stage and the cathedral to grow together.
The first photos from the rehearsal on Wednesday evening show what kind of atmosphere this can create. You can see in the photos: the principal actors Philipp Hochmair and Deleila Piasko, who are new to the Jedermann and Buhlschaft this year.
