NHL: Avalanche offer Kevin Mandolis one-year contract

One day after getting your rightsDenver offered the Quebec goalkeeper a one-season contract Kevin Mandolis. The latter was a restricted free agent at the time of the trade.

Colorado also received a 2026 seventh-round pick from the Ottawa Senators in the trade. In return, Ottawa received a 2026 sixth-round pick.

The 23-year-old Mandolis played 23 games for the Belleville Senators of the American League, recording a record of 10 wins, 9 draws and 2 losses. The Blainville native averaged 3.07 goals per game and had an efficiency rating of 0.901.

He was recalled to the NHL between January 31 and February 13 but did not appear in a game.
