Technical workshops were held to familiarize teachers of Islamic subjects with the national curriculum.
The aim is to tell teachers what to pay attention to according to the main principles of the national curriculum and how to address the challenges faced by teachers in teaching Islamic familiarity.
The workshop was organised by the National Institute of Education (NIE) and attended by 108 Islam teachers from Malay schools.
Yaqub Hussain Yusuf, Senior Curriculum Development Analyst, and Ahmed Shakeel, Curriculum Development Analyst, NII provided information.
The seminar was held at the CHSE hall and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education presented certificates to the participants.
