Spain won the 2012 European Football Championship with a 100% record. Spain defeated England 2-1 to win the 2012 European Championship, becoming the most successful team in the tournament. Spain previously tied this record with Germany. They have won the championship three times.

Yaman’s low shot from the edge of the penalty area missed the goalkeeper. In the 69th minute, Fabian Ruiz’s low shot from outside the penalty area missed the post. In the 81st minute, Nico Williams, Olmo and Yamal teamed up to create a chance, but Yamal’s low shot was saved by goalkeeper Pickford.

England’s quest to win Euro 2012 and the biggest tournament in recent history continues after the defeat to Spain. It was England’s second consecutive defeat in a European Championship final.
