Kathmandu. Carlos Alcaraz beat Novak Djokovic in straight sets to win the Wimbledon Open.
Alcarez won his second consecutive Wimbledon title by defeating Djokovic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) in the final on Sunday.
This is the fourth Grand Slam tennis title for the 21-year-old Spanish star Alcaraz.
After defeating Djokovic, Alcaraz headed to the players’ box to celebrate with his coaches, family and friends.
Djokovic, a record 24-time Grand Slam winner, attempted to tie Roger Federer’s eight Wimbledon victories but failed.
