There was a lot of anticipation today for the second consecutive final at Wimbledon between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, with many believing they would see another dramatic match, but in the end there was no result as the match on the London grass court was a one-way street.
At only 21 years old, Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz has already won four Grand Slam titles, including two at Wimbledon, one each at the French Open and the US Open, something no one has ever done in the history of tennis.
Today, Alcaraz swept Novak Djokovic more easily than expected and won convincingly 6:2, 6:2, 7:6 (4).

The first game lasted more than 12 minutes. Both players had several opening break opportunities in their favor, but the Spanish player got the fifth break point and led 1:0.
Alcaraz dominated the rest of the match, taking Djokovic’s serve again to lead 4:1 and ending the routine start of the final with a convincing 6:2.
When Alcaraz took Djokovic’s serve again at the start of the second set, it was clear the seven-time Wimbledon champion was about to lose convincingly and his 25th Grand Slam title of the day would be for naught.
The outcome of that set was a little different, but Alcaraz settled the match at 6-2, breaking for the second time in the seventh game to lead 2-0 in just one hour and 15 minutes.
It wasn’t until the third set that Djokovic managed to hold serve in the first set and lead 1-0, but the impression was that it would have been better if he had stayed in the hotel room and played with Tara and Stefan.
The third game of the third set was similar to the first set, with Alcaraz failing to convert four break points and Djokovic leading 2-1 this time.
In the sixth game, Djokovic had the opportunity to take away the Spaniard’s serve, but he did not take advantage of the break point. After 4:4 in the ninth game, Alcaraz once again took away the Serbian tennis player’s serve, and victory was approaching.

In the next game, Alcaraz quickly chased to 40:0 on serve and got three match points, but Djokovic scored five points in a row to tie the score at 5:5.
In the tie-break, Alcaraz got two more match points, and after 2 hours and 27 minutes of play, they won 3-0.
