Oli submitted his claims to the Prime Minister on Friday.
Kathmandu, June 30. KP Sharma Oli has been appointed Prime Minister.
On Sunday, President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Oli as prime minister under Article 76 (2) of the Constitution.
Oli made his bid for prime ministership with the support of political parties such as the United Marxist-Leninist Party and the Nepali Congress.
After Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda failed to get a vote of confidence in the House session on Friday, President Paudal called on the Prime Minister to submit a claim under Article 76 of the Constitution with the support of two or more political parties (2).
Oli submitted the claim immediately after the President’s call. Oli, who has been appointed as the Prime Minister, will be sworn in at 11 am tomorrow.
