Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just been accused of still having “sand in their knickers”, which is proof they are about to separate.
Royal commentator and expert Daniela Elser lays it all out.
She discussed this in a recent article. News.com.au.
In the post, she talks about how things have changed for the Sussexes, admitting, “This time last year there was a period when there was a lot of chatter about the state of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s marriage.”
It was reported at the time that “they are so independent of one another that the owner of a leading Montecito hotel chain recently … (said) they have a room reserved for Harry to stay there occasionally alone.”
The room, located at the San Vincente Bungalows, a private members club in Los Angeles, was reportedly his “sanctuary” at the time.
Ms Elser even noted how things have changed since then, saying: “I’m very pleased to report that if the number of public appearances Harry and Meghan have made over the past 12 months is anything to go by, everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.”
“This year alone, from Vancouver to Austin, from Abuja to Lagos to Santiago, the Duke and Duchess still held hands and smiled at each other as if they had just returned from their honeymoon and still had sand in their underpants.”
But at the same time, she warned: “Nevertheless, the last year seems to have cemented a clear shift for the Sussexes that increasingly separates their professional lives and public brands.”
“Long gone are those tearful, sometimes brief moments on television. Harry and Meghan have said goodbye to their years of sharing, sharing, sharing, often as a double act while the red recording light kept flashing.”
