Republic Bank Sponsors Mr. and Miss Talented Youth Pageant at the 50th Anniversary Nevis Cultural Festival

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The Republic Bank EC Limited of St. Kitts and Nevis is sponsoring the Nevis Cultural Talent Youth Pageant for the third consecutive year.

Speaking at the investiture ceremony, Republic Bank St. Kitts and Nevis Country Manager Pamela Herbert Daniel said the financial institution was pleased to be part of initiatives involving young people.

“Republic Bank is honored to be one of the drivers of programs like this to help youth within the community. In addition, the winning school will receive $5,000 to improve school facilities.”

Nevis Island Government Minister of Cultural Affairs Eric Evelyn expressed his gratitude to Republic Bank for its continued sponsorship and invited the public to witness the event.

“I want to especially thank Republic Bank for hosting such an event for three consecutive years and I encourage all of us in Nevis to step up, support our future stars, support our future leaders and ensure that Republic Bank’s Mr. and Miss Talented Youth Pageant in 2024 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Cultural Festival will be the best pageant ever.”

The contestants for the Nevis Cultural Festival Talented Youth Pageant are:

Zenobia Johnson and Kimani Lawrence from Ivor Walters Primary School – sponsored by Nevis Co-operative Credit Union.

Zakiyah Stapleton and Dhillon Elliott (Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School) – sponsored by LEFCO

Caiajah Nisbett and Alwyn Douglas Jr from St Thomas Primary School – sponsored by National Caribbean Insurance Company.

Zyann France and Te’Jahni Daniel from Violet O. Jeffers Nichols Primary – sponsored by OD Brisbane Ltd and Grace Foods.

ChajNe Caines and Kardeem Taylor from Charleston Elementary School – sponsored by NASPA.

Aleijah Hendrickson and Natram Mathura from Joycelyn Liburd Primary School – sponsored by Clive Evelyn Construction.

The talented youth beauty pageant is the highlight of the Nevis Cultural Festival lineup. The 2024 competition will be held at the Nevis Cultural Center on July 30 at 7 pm.
