A survey of five-year-olds’ oral health is due to begin next week.
The survey, run by the Isle of Man Public Health Service, will begin on April 22 and run until May 3.
Parents or guardians of children who are asked to participate should have received a letter from the school with a consent form. For children who agree to participate, the school will examine their children’s teeth.
This dental check is different to a regular dental check and should not be considered a replacement. If the dental team finds anything that requires further investigation they will contact you by letter.
If your child is eligible to participate in the survey, please remember to complete the consent form and return it to your child’s school as soon as possible.
