Mircea Geoană is doing what he knows best: running for office with the support of others.

In his desire to attract supporters for the presidential election, Joana declared that “the president of a country is like the coach of the national team.”

“The President of the country is the equivalent of a national coach. He has to work with the best people in the country, he is not a dynamic person, a star player, a fast athlete or a Craovia, he is with the country. In the end you are above the interests of individual clubs, you represent the country. My heart is filled with joy when I see everything in Romania, in Belgium, in Cologne. The Romanian supporters are so beautiful, so many and so united. I am fascinated by the image of Romania, where in Belgium the waiters used to pray that Romanians would come to them because they left a tip and others left their two cents. There was also something funny, which was cheering for the team after it lost. Many times, we also had weddings after funerals, it was incredible”, says Mircea Geoană.
