Big Attack

Military experts first reviewed the latest news about a major attack by Ukrainian and Russian troops.

According to them, the Ukrainian army attacked the important Russian naval port of Novorossiysk with naval drones.

“There was a strong explosion, but there is no exact information about the impact yet,” they shared.

The invading forces also organized joint strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

“According to the Ukrainians, they shot down all four Kh59 missiles, all five Shaheed missiles.”

Unfortunately, three of the four Iskander-K cruise missiles penetrated the air defense system.

The occupiers attacked the Dnipro shopping center, killing and injuring civilians.

The good news is that a Russian Orlan-10 (a Russian target-seeking reconnaissance drone) was probably shot down in the combined strike. This is rare in combined strikes.

One would like to see these eyes shot out before the Russians spot the targets and decide to attack them. But wishes do not shoot down – you need to first detect such a drone and have something to shoot it down (for example: missiles, electronic warfare or other means). Maybe this will not be the last strike today – explosions were recorded in the cities of Kherson, Krivy Rog, Kharkov, Poltava, etc., “the military expert wrote.

The situation at the front

Next, experts from the “Locked N’ Loaded” Civil Protection and Security Analysis Center assessed the situation on the front line in a review.

According to them, no significant changes have taken place in the Kharkov direction.

“Mutual localized attacks continue, and the Russians continue to actively use aviation,” they wrote.

In Kupyansk on the Luhansk direction, fighting continued along the contact line.

“The occupiers are trying to build on yesterday’s partial victory in Styrmashivka, but the Ukrainian defenders are holding their ground,” the military expert said.

“The Le Mann invaders sought success on the northern flank (Makiivka), they managed to improve their position in the region,” said experts from the Civil Protection and Security Analysis Center “Locked N’ Loaded”.

Fierce fighting was taking place at Seversk near Rozdolivka.

“Ukrainian forces failed to knock the Russians down, but the latter were also unable to advance,” the military expert stressed.

Military experts say that in Chasiv Yar on the Donetsk side, the Russians resumed operations on the northern flank and in the center.

They shared their insights: “It is very likely that the majority of Ukrainian troops here will be forced to retreat to the main line of defense, i.e. the western bank of the canal.”

According to them, the situation on the south wing is complicated.

“The invaders succeeded in breaking into the southern entrance to New York. The wedge was deep (about 4 km), but narrow, reaching only about 750-800 meters. The advantage of the Russians was that they managed to get behind densely populated areas.

Basically the wedges are all in the low ground, so theoretically it shouldn’t be difficult for the Ukrainian defenders to cut in.

However, this seems to be mainly due to the reasons already mentioned – the lack of interaction between Ukrainian forces and the defenders’ reserves that could plug the gaps.

If so, then it is unlikely that these problems will allow the Ukrainians to quickly turn to a counterattack that would drive the Russians out of these positions,” military experts said, adding that they hope to be wrong on this point.

Ukraine War

On the northern flank of Pokrovsk-Vuhledar, Russian troops were advancing along the railway toward Prores and expanding their bridgehead on the high ground.

“In addition, the Ukrainians did not maintain their position on the southern approach to Novoselivka Persha,” said experts from the Civil Protection and Security Analysis Center Locked N’ Loaded.

In the centre, heavy fighting continued on the highlands north of Kalivka.

“The situation in Nevelsk remains extremely difficult, but the Ukrainian defenders are not retreating,” the military expert wrote.

On the southern flank, the Ukrainians occupied the northern edge of Krasnohorivka, but the main line of defense probably ran along the north bank of the Lozova River.

“The Russians have managed to advance about 2 kilometers on the eastern flank in the Vuhledal-Mykirsk area. It looks like the battle for Vuhledal is imminent,” military experts shared their predictions on social networks.

The invaders announced an offensive in the direction of Zaporizhia, but did not reveal the location of the attack.

“On Tuesday, he announced an intensive attack on Kamenka using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and thermobaric systems. Whether this is relevant information, how much truth there is in it – it’s hard to say. The situation is not clear, we will monitor it,” the military expert promised.

They also said no changes were recorded in the south direction.
