Milan also attended a durian tasting event hosted by Singaporean entrepreneur and actor Collin Chee. In a video uploaded on Chee’s Instagram page, Milan was seen sitting with several other guests at a table filled with various durian varieties, including Musang King, D101 and Dong Lai.
Afterwards, Chee, the founder of the durian company Spikes Of Love, explained the knowledge of durian and how to eat it.
Reflecting on the experience, Milan said: “This one was much more in-depth. I eat durian all the time, every time I come to Singapore it’s for durian. But I’ve never had anyone explain the steps, all the history, all the knowledge to me. I had a great night and I think (I’m) ready to go home.”
In 2015, Milan called Singapore his “home outside of the United States”.
“I come here more than I have to any other country in the world.”
