On Saturday, June 29, the famous bicycle race passed through San Marino, and the entire republic was painted yellow to host the event. Tour de Francea global event with extensive media coverage.
These evocative and captivating images are seen around the world, highlighting the beauty of our country, its character, its perspectives and its history.
This was a truly unique opportunity, and all the institutions involved did their utmost to provide personnel, resources and means, and to offer the French organizations a ready and secure territory.
The Civil Protection Agency, which coordinates the group established pursuant to State House Resolution No. 11. 66 of. 14 November 2023 expresses its deepest gratitude to those who made this possible.
Thanks are therefore due to all the institutions concerned, the Secretariats of State for Work and Sport, for the Territory and the Environment, for Education and Culture and their departments, as well as the Secretariats of State for the Interior, for Tourism and their offices, the police forces and combatants: the Carabinieri, the Civilian Police and the Fortress Guards, as well as the Uniformed Militia Companies, the Grand Guard and the General Council, the Rocca Attileria Guard, the Supreme Command Militia and the Civil Defence Volunteers.
We thank the National Olympic Committee of San Marino, the Cycling Federation of San Marino, the Autonomous State Public Works Company, the Autonomous State Public Service Company, the Social Security Institute, the Castle Council and the Captains involved in the route, RTv San Marino, the Telecommunications Department, the Amateur Radio Association of the Republic of San Marino and all the ANIS, USOT, OSLA, USC, UNNAS industry associations.
Finally, a huge thank you to the citizens of San Marino who have endured any inconvenience in internal mobility and organizational arrangements, demonstrating their love and attachment to our Republic.
