The agreement concerns defense cooperation between Finland and the United States.
parliament Approved the DCA agreement on defense cooperation with the United States.
Among other things, the agreement provides for the United States’ access to Finnish territory and the use of pre-agreed sites and areas. It also covers, for example, the legal status of U.S. troops stationed in Finland.
Last week, parliament’s foreign affairs committee unanimously supported ratification of the deal.
